Why Magic Matters
Losing a parent is something no family should have to navigate alone. Especially when children are involved.
This hits especially close to home for our family. My wife lost her dad when she was just 13 years old, so we know how heavy that kind of loss can be during such an important time in a child's life.
While nothing can take away that grief, sometimes a little joy in the middle of an incredibly difficult season can mean more than we realize.
That's why we want to give a family who has recently lost a parent $4,000 toward a Disney trip—a chance to step away for a few days, spend time together, laugh, make memories, and experience a little magic during a time when they need it most.
Our Christian faith is at the heart of this. We believe the Lord has blessed us with a platform and community for a reason, and He has put it strongly on our hearts to use what we've been given to bless someone else.
We started Magical Transformations to create a safe, fun, and understanding community where fellow magical theme park enthusiasts could work toward their fitness and nutrition goals without feeling judged or like they had to give up the things they love.
But we also want this community to stand for something bigger than fitness.
We believe the community we've been blessed to build gives us an opportunity to come together, support one another, and create a little magic for people when they need it most.
This is one way we hope to do exactly that.
Now, we need your help finding that family.
If you know a family who has recently lost a mom or dad and could truly use some joy, hope, and time together, please nominate them below.
There is no donation or purchase necessary. We're simply asking the Disney community to help us find a family we can bless with this $4,000 Disney trip.

Our goal is to provide one family who has recently lost a parent with up to $4,000 toward a Disney vacation and give them an opportunity to make some joyful memories together during an incredibly difficult season.
Please read the following before submitting a nomination:
Nominations are open through December 1, 2026.
The selected family will be personally contacted by us on Christmas Day — December 25, 2026.
Families should be nominated because they have recently experienced the loss of a parent and have children who would benefit from this experience.
You may nominate a family you know personally or a family whose story you believe should be considered.
Please provide accurate information. We may contact the person submitting the nomination for additional details before selecting a family.
No purchase, payment, or donation is required to nominate a family or be selected.
IMPORTANT: This Is NOT a Cash Giveaway
The selected family will receive up to $4,000 in Disney vacation expenses, but NO CASH WILL BE GIVEN OR TRANSFERRED TO THE FAMILY.
The vacation will be provided through a combination of travel arrangements booked through a third-party travel agency and Disney Gift Cards provided directly for eligible trip expenses.
We will NEVER send the selected family $4,000—or any portion of the trip value—through Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, Cash App, bank transfer, check, physical cash, or any other person-to-person money transfer service.
No physical cash will change hands.
If anyone contacts you claiming to represent us and asks you to send money, pay a fee, provide payment information, or receive the $4,000 through a money-transfer service, it is
NOT us.
The purpose of this gift is simple: to give a deserving family the opportunity to experience some joy, togetherness, and magic after walking through an incredibly difficult loss. ❤️
